Tiffany and Jay - December 16, 2006

With the holiday season now (almost) over, I've finally gotten a chance to update the blog. While winter in Alberta means fewer weddings, December still hosted two memorable ones.

The first one belonged to Tiffany and Jay. This young couple elected to get married in Jasper National Park - one of my favorite places in the world. Even in the winter, this park's vast beauty can boggle the mind.

Tiffany and her parents make an entrance to her ceremony at the Lobstick Lodge.

The room was beautifull decorated and featured a great view of the Rockies.

Being so close to Christmas, what would a wedding be without at least one Christmas tree nearby.

The vows are sealed with a kiss.

After the ceremony, we headed outdoors for a few photos. While not being frigid, a stiff wind made things ... challenging. I can't imagine what a foot of snow felt like on high heeled shoes and nylon covered feet. The ladies toughed it out, however, and we managed a few shots. Here, the newlywed couple share a moment on Patricia Lake.

The brave wedding party puts on their best smiles despite the lingering hypothermia.

The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches and lots of laughs.

Tiffany and Jay share their first dance.

Congratulations Tiffay and Jay. I thank you for the oppotunity to share in your wedding in such beautiful surroundings. Best of luck now and in the future. Cheers!
