Chelsea and Chad - July 21, 2007Meet Chelsea and Chad. Just under a year ago, I ventured to the beautiful country home of Chelsea's parents to do an engagement shoot with this young couple. Yesterday, these two tied the knot in front of celebratory family and friends at the same locale.
Before the ceremony, Chelsea's mom Louise lends a hand with the long laces of the dress.
And the earrings.
The veil was worn by Louise on her own wedding day. Emotions were running high as mom helped Chelsea put it on.
Chelsea is escorted to the ceremony site behind the home by mom and dad.
Bright sunshine, warm weather, and a lovely yard made for a great ceremony.
Chelsea and Chad exchange their vows.
The marriage begins with a kiss.
After doing some groups shots, we headed to the Muttart Conservatory and Irene Parlby park for some more formals and fun stuff. The bride, groom, and wedding party pose for a photo in the grass.
A bridal portrait of the lovely Chelsea.
Besides making a great team on Chelsea's wedding day, this group of pretty ladies were good at stopping traffic.

In just a few short months, Chelsea and Chad will be a mom and dad. With that in mind, we did a few maternity style shots along with the wedding formals.
The reception was held at the East Whitecroft Hall near Sherwood Park. Chelsea and Chad did a lot of kissing. Like many modern weddings, getting the bride and groom to kiss involves more than just tinking the glasses. The newlyweds plan was to make guests sing a love song if they wanted to see a kiss. Little did they realize, the reception hall was full of singers.
Chelsea and Chad react with a smile to one of many great speeches from the evening.
It was tough to find a dry eye in the crowd after Chelsea's parents gave their speech. This group hug took place immediately after.
Cake (or in this case, cupcake) cuttings can occasionally be messy business. The look on Chelsea's face should've been all the warning Chad needed.
Oops!
The couple shared a very happy first dance shortly after.
Which was followed by a touching father and daughter dance.
Thank you so much, Chelsea and Chad, for making me a part of your big day. After hearing your loving words for each other at the reception, I have no doubt in my mind that you two are perfect together. Best wishes now and in the near future when the newest addition to your family arrives. :) Cheers!
