Jennifer and Rob - E-Session

When Jennifer and Rob tie the knot later this summer, I hope the smiles and laughter are as abundant as they were tonight. Working with these two was entertaining and that's always a big plus.

We started at Hawrelak Park. It was a beautiful evening and there was enough gaps in the cloud to blanket us with some warm light.

The couple enjoys a little bit of fun stuff.

Jennifer and Rob share a moment amidst scenic stones and trees.

A bit later we were off to the Muttart grounds. Sit these two down at a picnic table and it was on!

I won't tell you who won, but all is well - the competition ended with a kiss.

Thanks a ton, you two - I had a lot of fun. Jennifer is going to make one spirited bride and Rob tells me that both families are practised partiers. Your wedding's going to be a hoot! Cheers!

Jasmin and Michael - May 12, 2007

Last fall, I had the pleasure of conducting an engagement session with Jasmin and Michael amongst brightly coloured leaves and the urban appeal of Whyte Avenue. Last Saturday, with spring upon us, their wedding arrived and was blessed with sunny skies, vibrant green grasses and hundreds of loving family and friends.

The shooting began early in the morning with Jasmin and her bridesmaids prepping for the day.

Jasmin's maid of honour, Annie, helps her with her dress.

The ceremony took place at the Trinity Baptist Church in Sherwood Park. Here, the bride and her father make their entrance.

The couple exhanged both traditional vows and their own in front of happy friends and family.

Jasmin and Michael begin their marriage.

After the ceremony, the wedding party headed to Irene Parlby park for some formals under the sun. Below, the stunning bride poses for a portrait.

A group of beautiful ladies always makes for a great photo. This one features the bride, her two sisters, and maid of honour.

Michael and Jasmin flash each other loving smiles.

The newlyweds share an affectionate moment.

The reception was held at the the Edmonton Golf and Country club. After a great dinner, touching speeches brought about laughter, tears, and everything in between.

Jasmin is a woman of many talents and one of them is her amazing singing voice. Halfway through the speeches, she surprised her new husband and wooed the crowd with a song dedicated to him.

The happy couple cuts the cake.

With beautiful late day light blanketing the ground, we snuck outside for a few more photos.

The newlyweds share a passionate kiss.

Jasmin and Michael, thank you so much for choosing me to record your day. After meeting you last fall, I was convinced your wedding would be a special one and it was. Here's wishing you two many more happy adventures together. Cheers!

Alice and Cokey - E-Session

On Friday I had the pleasure of doing an engagement seesion with Cokey and Alice. This pleasant, happy couple will be tieing the knot in early June. With sunny skies at hand, we spent some time at both the Royal Museum and Muttart Conservatory grounds.

Alice and Cokey enjoy a view of Edmonton's skyline at sunset.

The couple enjoys a kiss alongside a pyramid at the Muttart.

A piggy back ride and happy faces.

Wet feet doesn't stop these two from enjoying one another.

You guys were great, Alice and Cokey - thanks for the shoot. Only three weeks away from your big day ... I'd better get to work on that guest book!

May 5, 2007 - Petra and Syed

Last Saturday marked the wedding day of Petra and Syed. Family and friends gathered to watch this very much in love couple tie the knot at the Union Bank Inn.
Surrounded by her parents, the lovely bride walks down the aisle.

Sincere vows are exchanged by the young couple.

Petra and Syed begin their marriage with a kiss.

The newlyweds eye each other up over a window lit table.

A flower and a kiss.

The handsome couple enjoys one another just outside the hotel.

Baring their rings, Petra and Syed share a loving kiss.

Petra and Syed, it was clear to everyone in attendance that you two love each other as strong as two people could. Thank you for making me a part of your special day - best wishes always. Cheers!
